The schedule posted below is subject to change; students are asked to check with their teachers to confirm the date and time of their exams during the last week of classes.
Semester 2 final exams will begin the afternoon of June 19. The final day of classes for Semester 2 will be June 19; this day will be a Power Review Day. All four classes will be scheduled in the morning so that students may meet formally for review with their teachers. In the afternoon teachers will be available for informal review with students on a drop-in basis. This informal review provides students with an excellent opportunity for individual support for exam preparation and for any remaining assignment completion.

Huron Perth Student Transportation Services is making it even easier this year to get your school bus delay and cancellation information. Already you can follow the announcements by going to our website ourschoolbuses.ca or by following our school’s twitter account: @GDCI_Vikings. You don’t need to have a twitter account to get this information, as the latest Tweet appears on the main page of our school’s website.
Last year HPSTS launched a smart phone App – called HPSTS. This App is available for iPhones, Android Smartphones and Windows OS Smartphones and is absolutely free. This App will bring you all the latest announcements regarding school bus or school delays and cancellations.
The HPSTS App is available in the Google Play Store for smartphones using the Android OS. For iPhones and Windows OS phones go to the following link to install the app: http://hpsts.wompmobile.com/ or you can use your smartphone to scan the QR code at the beginning of this story to install the app.
As in the past, you can also monitor local radio stations during inclement weather for the latest announcements on cancellations or delays.
Some students elect to pay their application fees by cheque or money order. Until this fee has been received at the OUAC, these applicants are not able to view and make changes to their individual applications. At this busy time of year, it may take OUAC staff approximately 3 to 4 weeks to process payments by cheque or money order. When possible, students are encouraged to pay their fees by credit card when submitting their applications.
The OUAC is officially closed for the holidays from December 21, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. to January 2, 2013, inclusive. The OUAC website will remain available during this time.
Be sure to get your access information from Students Services if you need to apply online during the Christmas holidays. The OUAC cannot provide access information by telephone or via email.
